I’m a Young Adult author repped by the fabulous Mandy Hubbard of D4EO Literary. I tend to gravitate towards writing dark, urban fantasyesk books that have main characters full of snarky humor.

The teenage years are full of discovery and angst and fear, about learning who you are and where you fit in.

But sometimes, it’s not really this world you fit into at all.

About Me

I live in Maine with my husband, two young boys, 2 dogs (one is a 2 year old lab-enough said!), and three cats. It’s chaos 99% of the time, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I try to grow vegetables, but it’s a constant battle between me and the weeds. So far, the weeds are winning.

About My Writing

My ideas come from everywhere really, but songs inspire me the most. Stories in of themselves, I start wondering about the people in the lyrics. Why are they in this lonely/scary/happy/ecstatic place? Who else is there with them? What will they do next?

I guess I just love creating new worlds and characters and escaping into them when time allows.
